Alternatively, a single motor paired with a long-range 77.4 kWh battery generates 225 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The strongest configuration is a dual motor variant which utilizes the same 77.4 kWh battery to achieve 320 horsepower and 446 lb-ft of torque. This option is for those wanting increased performance as the electric SUV can hit 0 to 60 mph in just 5 seconds. 

Inside the Ioniq 5, owners will find a surprisingly spacious cabin. The design is minimalist and features a moveable center console that helps give the electric SUV an airy atmosphere. Dual 12.3-inch display screens serve as the digital gauge cluster and the infotainment display. Driver-assist features like a heads-up display offer drivers information to further enhance safety. While the cabin itself is open and spacious, owners are only afforded 27.2 cubic feet of space behind the second row. Despite the somewhat limited capacity, storage increases to 59 cubic feet with the seats folded down. There’s also a front trunk for additional stowage.
